Central Publishing was founded by a British music supervisor (Alick Sethi) and a Hungarian songwriter/composer (Tamas Szabo). The whole idea and concept of this company came from the fact that both of them have, to date, worked extensively abroad from their own countries and gained very positive international experience. This is allied with their close connection to Hungary, and the wider region. Tamas was born and raised in Budapest whereas Alick moved to Hungary from London a couple of years ago to discover new opportunities and also live his life here.

The two of them teamed up for the mission to discover new and talented artists from Central Europe and show their music to the world outside of this region.

Central Europe is largely undiscovered, in terms of new music, and they see a fantastic opportunity to change that.

Tamas, as the singer and main songwriter of the band called The Moog, has released albums in USA, Japan, Germany, Spain. The Moog also toured internationally on a regular basis. Many of his songs were licensed to American tv shows and computer games and as a composer he made music for international campaigns and movies.

Alick is the founder of Retox Musiclinic, a music supervision and composing agency that has had worked for over ten years on projects for films and commercials in the so-called developing markets – for example, Russia, Central Europe, India and the Far East.
His background is as an alternative DJ and he still gets to dabble in the heady Budapest nightlife when called upon to do so.
