Before Manoya, she gained notoriety as the front woman of the bands Neo and Occam.
By 2012 she was ready, as Manoya, to release her first LP, ‘Hundred Arms’. It mixes ‘close to nature’ acoustic sounds with mild electronica, creating a genuine, elaborate sound and a quite extraordinary world inspired by Manoya’s problem-solving life philosophy, talkative lyrics and mesmerising vocals.
Hundred Arms was awarded the ’Alternative Album of the Year’ prize at the ‘Fonogram’ Hungarian Music Awards. During this period, Manoya has evolved into a six piece band and perfected its live shows, toured with Quimby (HU), supported Heidi Happy (CH), and was invited to Moscow’s Gorky Park for a massive live show promoting cultural exchange in June 2015.
